Call for Poster Presentations

Proposals will be reveiwed on a rolling basis; all submissions due no later than 9/1.

Poster presentations can focus on lessons learned, case studies, best practices, applied research, and more. We also invite posters in Spanish! As a change of pace, for this event we will have three smaller poster sessions throughout the week grouped by theme. 

Proposals will be evaluated for inclusion based on the clarity of the abstract, the relevance of the topic, and its appeal to attendees.

Proposal Due Dates

  • Before September 1: Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the due dates below. Because sessions and presentation opportunities are limited, we highly recommend submitting your abstract as early as possible. We will review the poster proposals received in late July and again in mid-August and send notifications to those who have already submitted at that time.
  • September 1: All submissions due
  • September 15: Organizers and presenters notified of acceptance

  • The Beneficial Fire Summit is a collaboration with the Association for Fire Ecology, UC ANR Fire Network, California Fire Science Consortium, Northern California Prescribed Fire Council, Tall Timbers Research Station, and University of Nevada Extension/Living With Fire.
